The best Japanese food I’ve eaten in the UK! The no. 3 sashimi don is so delicious, very fresh and generous sashimi portion. Love the silky egg that comes with it. Very friendly staff. Thank you!

Had to wait for a bit (about 25 minutes) for my food, but I did order a dish that generally takes a while to prepare. While I waited, the atmosphere was very lively with several families and groups of young people. The staff are very efficient; tidying up the tables very quickly. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the tea I ordered came in a large teapot, so I was able to enjoy it before, during and after my meal. When my dish came, I was a little surprised at how big the piece of eel was. Everything on my tray was delicious! The eel was grilled to perfection and the omelette underneath was sweet. I was initially worried that the rice was not enough, but I was stuffed by the time I finished. And the steamed egg was very smooth with a few tasty surprises inside. The only thing that let it down was the tepid miso soup. All in all, I will definitely eat here again! I look forward to trying more of their dishes in future!
